Tight workout regime

"I lived in New York for one and a half years and during my time there I went through periods of working out every day - engaging in everything from boxing to boot-camp. So I’m quite used to vigorous exercise! In the Netherlands I have managed to stick to a tight workout regime, first of all by myself and then later once or twice a week with a personal trainer."


Creative workouts

"My pregnancy went smoothly; I worked out up until a week before giving birth. Eitan ensured that I overloaded nothing, but remained challenged. He gave me lots of compound exercises in which you train different muscle groups simultaneously. He is very creative that way. One example is the "squat heartbeat ', where you squat with a kettle bell pressed to your chest and, whilst sitting in the lowest squat position, you press the kettle bell forward with outstretched arms and move it back to your chest before coming up again. Such an exercise not only requires the strength, agility and stamina of a normal squat, but also the power of the 'heartbeat' movement, balance and coordination."

Dead end

"Starting to train with Eitan actually was a ‘life changing moment' for me. Prior to that I had lost 12 kilos all by myself but had kind of hit a dead end. I wanted to loose more but did not know how. At the gym I sometimes went to a yoga or spinning lesson but that was not constructive. I did not lose weight and basically had no idea what I was doing. Diet changes

Improved shape

"In terms of working out Eitan and I match really well. My shape has improved. As a working mother with a demanding career, time is in short supply and trying to fit working out into an already busy life was extremely challenging. When I did manage to work out by myself I soon felt bored and was frustrated by the lack of progress.

Besides working full-time as an IT professional I also study to keep up-to-date in my chosen work field. In my free time I work out at the gym focusing mainly on resistance and cardio trainings.   After I injured my shoulder last year (frozen shoulder), I just couldn’t work out without getting more injured. The workouts with Eitan are highly personalised. He takes my weak shoulder into consideration and finds different strategies to provide me with a good work out without injuring or overtaxing my shoulder.  Our workout schedule changes on a monthly basis which is very nice and challenging as it stimulates different muscle groups and keeps my workouts interesting.

As an investment risk officer my job is very stressful and the demand is immense. Working out safely

I suffer from chondromalacia patella (runner’s knees) in my left knee from years of running and scoliosis (curvature in the spine) in my lower back. Sport is and has been an important part of my life for about 25 years. It helps me to relax mentally and stay in shape physically.

About one year ago I met Eitan at Club Sportive who approached me when he noticed that I performed an exercise incorrectly which put me at risk of contracting back pain.
